Pielettrico

A lamp is always connected to an energy source, therefore it can also be a source of energy to power others domestic appliances.
Pielettrico is an hibrid object, being both a source of light and a source of electricity. It combines two useful functions both for home or office. It is a source of light, an electrical ´totem´. The lamp´s base has 3 sockets and a switch. Its light body is switchable in order to be adapted to many different requirements of the market. The base proportions are built using the diameter of a round standard Schuko socket as a dimensional reference. Four horizontal legs meet in the centre where another socket allows the body of the lamp to be conennected.

The neon version presented at the Salone del Mobile 2010 in Milan is the starting point to develop a whole new series of lamps.
