Traverso table

The beam is the central backbone of the project. Its section is exposed on the front of the table, where it becomes both a structural necessity and a defining visual element.

The project focuses on the coincidence between structure and identity. The load-bearing component is not concealed, but brought to the foreground, giving the object its character and recognisability.

A system of concealed joints and hardware allows the table to appear visually light, despite its structural clarity. While the proportions and references recall traditional tables, the precision of the construction is made possible by contemporary CNC processes.
